EDEA is software that automates trading strategies on your own exchange account. It does not promise or guarantee returns. Results will be published here once there is enough real, after-fee data to support them.
What we measure
Three things, in order of how much they tell us.
We will publish aggregate live results, net of exchange fees, once there are enough real trades over enough days to say something meaningful. Until then, this page shows none.
Every hour EDEA records what its order-flow and trend signals said and what price did afterwards. The tests and the pass criteria are written down before the data is analysed, and we intend to report the results whatever they show.
Exchange fees typically cost roughly 0.4%–0.8% per round trip, depending on your fee tier and order type. Short-term price moves are often smaller than that, so a strategy has to beat the fees, not merely guess the direction.
About the backtester
A tool for exploring a strategy’s rules on historical data. It is not a forecast.
The backtester replays historical candles through a simplified version of each strategy’s entry and exit rules. At each candle it only uses data up to that candle and enters at the next candle’s open. It is a separate code path from live trading, so it does not reproduce every live filter: for example, the live quality gate (score threshold and take-profit hit-rate check) is not applied.
Exits include the ratchet by default: once profit covers fees, the floor locks above break-even and rises with price. Fixed stop-loss and take-profit levels apply otherwise.
Fees use your exchange account’s rates, and entries assume 0.1% slippage. Real fills, especially in fast markets, can be worse.
You choose the pair and the period. A result on one pair over one period says little about other pairs or other periods.
⚠️ Important. This page contains no performance results. Simulations and backtests are not live trading results, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Cryptocurrency markets are volatile and unpredictable. Algorithmic trading carries substantial risk of loss, including total loss of capital. EDEA is a software tool — it does not provide financial advice. Start with an amount you can afford to lose.
Every EDEA plan includes the backtesting tool. Explore how a strategy’s rules behaved on a pair of your choice — a simulation is not a prediction.
